Follow these steps to warm your home or business right away.

1) If you smell smoke, (and your certain the house isn't on fire) its likely your furnace motor or belt has burned out or off . You can air the place out, replace the worn out part, or call us and we will do it for you.

2) If you've discovered your furnace isn't heating up the home, check to see if your pilot light is functioning. If not, follow lighting instructions listed somewhere on the furnace. (check the inside of one of the doors )

3) If you hear the blower motor running, but still have no heat, chances are the blower assembly belt may be defective.

4) Make sure your furnace filter is clean. "A clean furnace is a happy furnace"

As you most likely know, repairing a furnace is not for the average person. It is always better to call a service man to repair any gas appliance. While your waiting for the service man to show up, you could turn on the electric oven, or light a fire in the fireplace to keep warm. Be sure to take steps to prevent pipes from freezing.
